Betty Lewis

Creating fused glass, and art in general, was not something that I ever thought I
would find myself doing.
I have never considered myself artistic and, lacking ANY amount of patience, (ask
anyone that knows me) I was as surprised and delighted as anyone to find that I
actually DO possess those traits.
After inheriting my late mother-in-law’s extensive amount of tools and supplies to
make stained glass, I thought I would give it a try. Not finding any available classes
for stained glass, I took the opportunity to try fused glass instead. What I am able
to create today is the result of falling in love with a unique and rewarding art
form.
I am always thinking of new and creative projects. I enjoy sharing these with as
many people as possible, which led me here, actually being able to sell something
that started out as nothing more than pieces of colored glass.
