Fab Happy Hippo
“Fab Happy Hippo” started as one of my original acrylic paintings, created to capture pure joy, confidence, and unapologetic personality. I wanted this piece to feel playful and uplifting — the kind of artwork that instantly brightens a room and makes people smile the moment they see it. With bold expression and whimsical charm, this hippo was designed to celebrate fun, individuality, and a carefree spirit.
After completing the original acrylic painting, I digitally re imagined the artwork on my iPad Mini using Adobe Fresco, enhancing the piece with layered watercolor textures, flowing color transitions, and expressive digital brushwork. This process allowed me to blend traditional acrylic painting with modern digital artistry, giving the final image a vibrant watercolor-inspired atmosphere while still preserving the original hand-painted character.
