Hazy Horse
“Hazy Horse” began as one of my original acrylic paintings, created to capture the spirit of freedom, movement, and quiet strength through a soft atmospheric style. Featuring a close-up portrait of a horse emerging through layers of haze and flowing texture, this piece was designed to feel both grounded and dreamlike — balancing power with calm elegance. I wanted the artwork to evoke the feeling of motion suspended in time, where emotion and energy are carried through subtle texture, contrast, and expression rather than sharp definition alone.
After completing the original acrylic painting, I digitally re imagined the artwork on my iPad Mini using Adobe Fresco, enhancing the piece with layered watercolor textures, mist-like tonal transitions, and expressive brush movement that deepened the atmospheric quality of the artwork. This creative process allowed me to merge the textured character of traditional acrylic painting with the fluid beauty of watercolor-inspired digital artistry, resulting in a unique visual fusion full of softness, motion, and emotion.
