Rosey Redemption
“Rosey Redemption” began as one of my original acrylic paintings, created to symbolize transformation, beauty through struggle, and unexpected grace. Featuring an octopus delicately holding a rose, this piece was designed to blend strength, mystery, and vulnerability into a single emotional image. I wanted the artwork to feel both surreal and meaningful — contrasting the flowing complexity of the octopus with the timeless softness and symbolism of the rose.
After completing the original acrylic painting, I digitally re imagined the artwork on my iPad Mini using Adobe Fresco, enhancing the piece with layered watercolor textures, flowing brush movement, and expressive color blending that brought additional depth and atmosphere to the composition. This process allowed me to combine the rich texture of traditional acrylic painting with the fluid elegance of watercolor-inspired digital artistry, creating a unique visual fusion that feels both modern and emotionally timeless.
